Samuel Snow


Professor Snow is named black belt of the year (2015) by Texas Mixed Martial Arts

Coach Snow is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Fernando “Soluço,” and is also a Phase II certified Alliance BJJ instructor under legendary master Fabio “The General” Gurgel. Snow has trained, taught, and studied martial arts all over the U.S. and South America. He proudly represents the Alliance Jiu-Jitsu association as a black belt professor and competitor.

Teaching is his great passion, but he has always had the drive toward competition. Snow has consistently taken first place in competitions all over texas as a blue, purple, brown, and black belt. He is a multiple-time IBJJF gold medalist. He is also undefeated in Mixed Martial Arts competition with a record of 3-0.

Besides Jiu-Jitsu, Snow enjoys traveling, food, live music, and learning languages. Traveling to conduct seminars and to teach or train at camps is one of his favorite activities. He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Chris Gray


Coach Gray heads the Muay Thai program at Snow MMA. His work ethic and dedication to training has been an excellent example and inspiration to all of his students and friends. Gray is a very fit 43 year old who will consistently out-work virtually everyone in the gym. His students know he has what it takes to push them to the next level, beyond their expectations. His attention to detail and knowledge comes from years of training in various martial arts. Most recently, he has trained under Blas Carrasco of Core Fight Academy, where he was an assistant Muay Thai and BJJ instructor. He is a well-rounded martial artist, holding a black belt in Karate and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under team Alliance.

Brad Scott


Coach Brad currently teaches the morning boxing class at Snow MMA. He  has been training boxing/ kick-boxing for the last 12 plus years and has trained pro and amateur boxers as well as MMA fighters. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Carlos Machado, Mr. Scott has worked in many different career fields, including commercial and personal security. For the last 7 years he has taught both kids and adults martial arts for both recreation and competiton purposes. His main joy in teaching individuals is seeing the confidence they gain in their ability to defend theirselves, their friends, and their family. Our students have raved about coach Brad’s remarkable skill for instruction and passion for training.

Federico “Ninja” Olivera


A professional Boxer and Mixed Martial Artist, coach Freddy has a lifelong pedigree of martial arts training, beginning with Karate when he was just 6 years old in Argentina. After moving to the U.S. with his parents as a young boy, he practiced Tae Kwon Do, reaching the level of black belt in record time. While heavily involved in TKD as an instructor and competitor, he took up gymnastics in High School, as well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu shortly thereafter. Coach Freddy holds the rank of purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under team Alliance. He coaches the Youth MMA program at Snow MMA, and is one of our most active competitors, participating in BJJ competitions, Muay Thai smokers, Boxing matches, and MMA fights. Coach Freddy heads our Youth Boxing program and also assists with wrestling, MMA, and Jiu-Jitsu classes.

Kade “Tarzan” Lawson


Coach Kade is an Alliance Jiu-Jitsu purple belt. He began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with Samuel Snow when he was around ten years old. From early on, it was clear that he had a natural ability and lots of potential in the sport. Kade has a true passion for Jiu-Jitsu, and through the years, his dedication increased, now eclipsed only by his hunger to accomplish his goals and realize his competitive potential. Teaching is a newly found passion of his, and he takes pride in seeing improvement in his students.

Amanda Johnson


A full-time nanny, coach Amanda has years of experience working with children. Actively competing and training over the past 5 years made her a great asset to our team as an assistant coach- now more than confident, competent, and experienced enough to lead her own classes. Coach Amanda holds the rank of blue belt 4th degree under team Alliance. The kids at Snow MMA adore her and she does an exceptional job guiding them along on their martial arts journey.

Gabriela “Gaby” Lembcke


Coach Gaby is one of our most dedicated and passionate coaches and competitors. A former varsity wrestling captain, she takes this grappling stuff seriously. Utilizing her years of competitive wrestling experience in competition, combined with her unique talent and work ethic, she has been able to consistently dominate her competition, and after just 8 months of training BJJ, was able to obtain IBJJF World championship Gold in 2016.
